Achilles Lake Trail – 1 km return (45 minutes) easy.
This trail leads to the shore of Achilles Lake, a small lake on the north side of the campground. The lake is a popular spot for watching sunsets. There is a canoe rental at the end of this trail so you can paddle and try your luck at catching Walleye and Northern Pike.
Fire Tower Trail: 7 km return (2 hours) strenuous.
This trail takes you to one of the few original fire lookout towers left in Ontario. The Bannerman Fire Tower was erected in the 1930s and the ranger in charge of the tower, watched for smoke and lived in a cabin nearby with his family through the summer. Along the shores of Fushimi Lake there are a few great spots for lunch and a swim.
