There is a 100 metre walk south from the parking lot to the main Bruce Trail.

Turn left onto the main trail and follow the white blazes.  After 1.2 km and the descent of a steep ravine, the Boyne Valley Side Trail heads off to the right.  The blue blazed side trail is 2.7 km long before rejoining the main Bruce Trail.  Part of this trail is on 1st  Line East. Just before rejoining the main trail there is a lookout.

Upon reaching the main Bruce Trail, turn right and follow the white blazes 2.4 km until reaching the access road to your parked car. Turn left onto the access road for 100 metres.

Along the main Bruce Trail you will have come upon a short (70 metre) side trail which is worth taking to the top of Murphy’s Pinnacle with view of the Shelburne wind farm to the west and the Toronto skyline to the south east.

This loop trail falls within the Dufferin Hi-lands section of the Bruce Trail. For more information on other loop and side trails and the portion of the main Bruce Trail in this section please visit the Dufferin Hi-lands Bruce Trail Club’s website at http://dufferinbrucetrailclub.org/
