The Nesbitt Trail is named in memory of Ricky Nesbitt, a life-long resident of Ardbeg. The landscape around the trail is characteristic of Georgian Bay ecology with expansive bedrock ridges and significant wildlife habitat features. the trail is on public land and therefore it is a shared resource for a variety of users. Forest harvest operations may be conducted in the area and may alter the landscape. Caution is required during open hunting season from October to December each year.
