While exploring the trails listed on this site take note of the following Ontario Nature Trails Code:
- Hike only along marked routes. Do not take short cuts.
- Please pay user fees, if applicable. These fees help to maintain the trails.
- Obey all signage.
- Use the stiles. Do not climb fences.
- Respect the privacy of people living along the Trail.
- Leave the Trail cleaner than you found it. Carry out all litter.
- No open fires are allowed on the Trails.
- Leave flowers and plants for others to enjoy. Protect trees & shrubs. Do no strip bark from trees.
- Do not damage live trees or remove bark.
- Where dogs are permitted, keep dogs on a leash and under control at all times. And stoop & scoop.
- Do not disturb wildlife and farm animals. Do not feed them.
- Remember: you use the trails only at your own risk.
- Leave only your thanks and take nothing but photographs.
