Belfountain is a hamlet in the amalgamated community of the Town of Caledon.

Upon arrival to this picturesque Hamlet on the Forks of the Credit through a scenic road which is fun to drive, you'll discover a beautiful conservation area with historic sites, trails, and a swing bridge.

If you are exploring the shops in town we suggest you leave your car and walk into the Hamlet. Top off your day with an ice cream, exquisite baked treat or coffee at Higher Ground, or a delicious meal at the Belfountain Inn.

Enoy the Salamander Festival, a unique small town event, each year in September. With local food and entertainment and plenty of family activities.

South of Belfountain on Mississauga Road you will discover the Melville White Church a beautifully restored and maintained building and cemetery dating to 1837. Book the Church for your wedding or attend an event at this interesting venue.
