This wide, well maintained trail is a single loop through a mature maple sugar bush. It is a pleasant walk for the whole family. This delightful trail is located across the road from Jakeman’s Maple Products.

Mel and I had an enjoyable hike of this trail to-day. Although trail originally posted as wheelchair accessible we have had to change this due to the numerous fallen trees over the trail. Hopefully, these will be removed soon. Loads of beautiful yellow trout lillies along the trail. A leisurely 20 minute walk. Afterwards couldn’t resist dropping in to Jakeman’s Maple Products across the road and picking up some maple syrup.
Hi – I have concerns about the safety of Trillium Trail near Sweaburg. With the most recent storm, there are a number of trees blocking the trail and hanging precariously over the trail.
For safety reasons, this trail should be closed until it can be cleaned up.
This once Beautiful trail has been ruined by the very conservation authority responsible for it’s care! Recklessly just cutting any tree down they feel like!
It will never be same! Sad day!
Thanks a lot !
