Summerstown Trails are located 1 km north of Highway 401 above Summerstown, The Summerstown Trails are operated by the Friends of Summerstown Trails. FOTST invites anyone interested in green activities such as snowshoeing, hiking, birding, biking, and cross-country skiing to contact us and join FOTST.
Currently, there are approximately 20 kilometers of groomed cross-county ski trails (classic and skating) and 9 kilometers of snowshoe trails for winter use. The terrain is varied. Most of the ski trails are in the woods and so afford good protection from winter winds. These trails range from beginners to intermediate.
These trails can also be used in summer for walking, hiking, and biking.
Trail maps are made available at the parking lot during the winter season.
