From the parking lot on Grey Rd 17 take the Glen Access Trail for .4 km reaching the intersection with the main Bruce Trail.  Turn right onto the main trail and follow the white blazes. After a very short distance where you will come to an intersection with the Ron Savage Side Trail.  However this is the end of the Side Trail (where it returns to the main trail) Instead of taking the Side Trail at this point continue east, along the top of the escarpment, on the main Bruce Trail following the white slashes. The view over the Glen is like looking onto a bay of tree tops. After 1.6 km you will come to the beginning of the Ron Savage Side Trail. Turn left onto the side trail and follow the blue blazes.

This trail follows the floor of the Glen. You will pass on your right a swampy area and what appears to be small puddles of water that appear bottomless. In fact these are about 15 metres deep. STAY ON THE TRAIL AND DO NOT STEP INTO PUDDLES.  After being on this side trail for about 3.1 km the trail will ascend through a crevice to the top of the Glen and rejoin the main trail.  Turn right and follow the white blazes along the top of the Glen.

This loop trail falls within the Sydenham section of the Bruce Trail. For more information on other loop and side trails and the portion of the main Bruce Trail in this section please visit the Sydenham Bruce Trail Club’s website at http://www.sydenhambrucetrail.ca/
