The Riverland Trail is approximately 1 km in length running along a section of the Grand River in the Riverland subdivision located on the west side in Breslau.  The trail has a hard packed granular surface and is suitable for hiking and biking. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the trail.  The trail is not winter maintained.  As the residential area of the Riverland subdivision continues to develop the trail will also be extended.

Riverland Trail descends to the river floodplain behind a residential neighbourhood before meeting a storm water pond opposite Dufferin Concrete and Kitchener’s Kolb Park. European reed grass (Phragmites) and beaver-gnawed willow stumps ring the pond. The 1856 Grand Trunk/CNR railway bridge crosses the Grand River 600 metres upstream.

The trail can be accessed at: 100 and 168 Dolman St. Breslau
From Kitchener, take Victoria St. east to Woolwich St.  Turn right onto Woolwich St, then right on Dolman St. Breslau.  Access the trail at the walkway at 100 Dolman St.
