There is a short access trail called the Pretty River Access trail running north from where you have parked your car on Pretty River Rd.
When this access trail meets the main Bruce Trail turn left onto the main trail and follow the white blazes of the main trail. The trail will pass a stream several times as you ascend the escarpment. After 1.4 km you will come to an intersection with the Pretty River Side Trail. Turn right onto the side trail and follow the blue blazes for 1.4 km, passing a small kettle lake, where you will again meet the main Bruce Trail. Turn right and follow the white blazes until you return to the Pretty River Access Trail that will take you to your parked car.
This loop trail falls within the Blue Mountains section of the Bruce Trail. For more information on other loop and side trails and the portion of the main Bruce Trail in this section please visit the Blue Mountains Bruce Trail Club’s website at http://www.bmbtc.org/
