Northumberland Forest – Beagle Club Trails
Thinking of going for an outdoor walk? There are over 45 km of hiking trails in the Northumberland Forest (located approx. 15 km north of Cobourg/exit 474 from hwy 401) including the eastern connection of the Oak Ridges Hiking Trail!
Beagle Club Trails:
There are several lengths available for hiking from April 1 to November 30. The parking lot is accessible from County Road 45 to Beagle Club Road.
Parking for the cross-country ski trails is located on Beagle Club Road, off County Road 45. Facilities are minimal with an outhouse at the trailhead.
From December 1 to March 31, trails west of Beagle Club Road are for cross-country skiing only. During that period, other non-motorized users (hiking, snowshoeing, horseback riding, biking) are asked to use the Woodland Trails.
