Farquharson Nature Reserve is a 103-acre reserve the Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy received in 2007.
Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy is a charitable land trust whose role is to help you conserve land.
The Farquharson Nature Reserve Trail is within the boundaries of the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere. As such it contains many of the unique features of the escarpment including tributaries of the Nottawasaga Watershed. Species such as the Eastern Meadowlark have been seen on this reserve. The Bruce Trail can be found just over a block west of this reserve. In this area, one can access the Pine River Valley Earth Science natural area and it is not far from the Noisy River Provincial Park.

Find it: Just north of Highway 89 on Airport Road turn west onto Dufferin County Road 21. Turn north on 3rd Line and when it takes a sharp turn east, you may pull over on this corner before it deviates and head into the reserve. This is the southeast corner.

Check the spelling – you speak of the Farquharson Reserve and then switch to the Farquarson Trail. Someone knocked the ‘h’ out of it.
Robert: Mea Culpa! I have put the “h” back where it belongs!
