Bell Bushlot Nature Reserve

Explore 7.6 km of Land Trust property (Nature Conservancy of Canada) in Mississippi Mills. This is one of many properties owned and managed by the Nature Conservancy of Canada. Hikers are asked to please stick to the trails, that all dogs be kept on leash, and all garbage taken home with you. The trail system we inherited on this property is quite expansive, and the NCC has been working over time to make it more user friendly. Due to COVID restrictions this year, we haven’t been able to maintain the trails.

*PLEASE NOTEAutumn hunting does occur in this area, and we advise extra caution and suggest alternate properties from Mid-October to December

These nature trails, on relatively even terrain, are located at 1633 Clayton Rd at Ramsay Con. 3B, Almonte. (red diamond on map). There is parking for one vehicle in front of the property sign. Please do not block off the main Right of Way (Blue squiggle on the map). If you are looking for an accessible, short hike. The route up and down the Right of Way is quite nice. You will see all the side trails splitting off from it.
