The Bart Thompson Trail is an 18 km figure-eight shaped trail than encompasses the shoreline of Porcupine Lake and an area to the north of Porcupine and South Porcupine.

Bart Thompson Trail
The trail accesses the shoreline of Porcupine Lake at several locations. The northerly half of the trail takes you through both lowland and upland forests, past interesting geological formations and several small streams and ponds.
There is a sign at the trailhead warning about bears.
