From the parking area the Sligo Side Trail heads west along 16C Side road and then heads north. The distance you walk west along 16C Side Rd is about 1 km. The GPS coordinates at this point are: 44.43476 and 80.57724.
After turning north off of 16C Side Road, the blue-blazed trail meanders through wetlands, along a boardwalk, and past a large beaver pond. After 2.9 km it meets the main Bruce Trail. Turn right onto the main Bruce Trail and follow the white blazes back to 16C Side Rd and your parked car.
