Begin your hike at the Four Seasons Waterfront Complex, climb the stairway at the foot of the rocky bluffs to the red-roofed gazebo and enjoy the 360° view overlooking the Spanish River Delta, Sagamok Anishnawbek, Whalesback Channel, and of course the Town of Spanish. Walk past the wind turbine and begin your hike along the Shoreline Discovery Trail.
Remember to wear proper footwear as the Shoreline Discovery trail is approximately 2.5 kilometres in length and takes approximately one hour to complete. Be careful of poison ivy and be sure to bring a friend along – never hike alone.
