RUSS MCCONNELL/JOHN HAIGHT SIDE TRAILS LOOP – BRUCE TRAIL

Park on 2^nd line at the intersection with 6^th Side Rd, Nottawa, ON.

The John Haight side trail will head south on the west side of the 2^nd line road allowance. Follow the blue-blazed trail for about 1 km until it intersects with the main Bruce Trail. Along the way you will pass the highest elevation point on the entire Bruce Trail.  Upon reaching the main Bruce Trail turn left. Follow the white blazes for .6 km until you reach the intersection with the Russ McConnell Side Trail.  Turn left onto this side trail and follow the blue blazes.  This side trail is .9 km long. You will meet the main Bruce Trail again.  Turn left and follow the white blazes for 2.6 km. This will bring you to the intersection with the John Haight Side Trail at the 2^nd Line road allowance.

Turn left and follow the road allowance back to your parked car.
