Quarry Line Loop is a medium to long distance walk. From the blockhouse walk across the canal, then northwest along Broadway/Heritage Drive to the Quarry Line road allowance. This is part of the main Rideau Trail: up through the woods, a few quarried stones that never made it to the canal to the west of the trail if you look carefully, then back along country roads to the Village. Easily extend your walk to 15 or 20 km by staying on the Rideau Trail.
