This trail begins at the Grey Sauble Conservation Foundation’s memorial forest location at the west end of Youngs Drive in Georgian Bluffs on the west side of Owen Sound. The trail, with blue slashes,  follows along the base of the Niagara Escarpment bluffs to the foot of Jones Falls. At that point the trail climbs the escarpment. At that juncture the trail meets the main Bruce Trail and its identifying white slashes marking the trail. A short walk to the left along the main trail would take you to the top of Jones Falls. However, to continue on the Memorial Forest Side Trail loop turn right and follow the main trail north. The trail follows the top of the escarpment and there are some spectacular east facing views along the way. Watch for the blue slashes on your right to take you back to the beginning of the Side Trail and your car.
