Massie Hills Management Area is located in the Municipality of Meaford (former Township of Sydenham).  Directions are:  Highway 6 & 10 at Rockford, travel east on County Road 18 – drive 3 concessions east, turn south onto Concession 6 Side road, travel 2.3 km south (1 and a half concessions), parking on the roadside.

There are two entrances, but the best access and parking is found on Concession 6 Side Road along the shoulder of the road in front of the trailhead.

The northerly portion of the property is part of the North Spey River system that flows into the Sydenham River.  This site consists of rolling hills, wetlands, cedar lowlands, pine plantations and hardwood forests.

This property is also home to the Massie Ski Trail.  The Owen Sound Ski Club has maintained the trail system of 10 kilometres since the 1980’s.  This is a classic cross country ski trail with a set track.  For information about a Day Pass or Membership to this club, visit www.massiehills.com

During the ski season, please respect the rules of no snowshoeing, no dogs or horses on the groomed trails.  No motorized vehicles are allowed on the property at any time.
