From the parking lot located on the south side of Lindenwood Rd head south on the white blazed main Bruce Trail. After about .9 km you will meet the beginning of the Lindenwood Side Trail.

Turn left onto the side trail and follow the blue blazes for about  .9 km. As you approach Lindenwood Rd you will intersect again with the main Bruce Trail.  Turn left onto the main trail and follow the white blazes back to your parked car. Along this side trail you will cross a barren rock plain known as an alvar.
