Heart Lake Conservation Area’s hiking trails offer some of the most panoramic vistas in southern Ontario. Let exploration captivate you. Tall ridges surround you as you enter the woodlands. Curved trails guide you up hills, through flowered meadows, and past a still kettle lake nestled deep in the forest’s heart. Wander past hidden marshes and along a wooden boardwalk, discovering more of the beauty of the forest with every step.

TreeCaching Trail

Watershed TreeCaching provides an opportunity for trail users to embark on a self guided tour of the landscape. With the aid of smart phone technology, participants will learn about the tree species they encounter while discovering the rich cultural and natural heritage of our watersheds.

Heart Lake Conservation Area also is home to a tree top trekking adventure operated by Treetop Trekking:  https://treetoptrekking.com/park/brampton/
