Demorestville Dam Conservation Area Trail

Bisected by Demorestville Creek, the shallow soil of this 26.6 hectare (65.8 acre)Conservation Area is dominated by red cedars. Most of the land in this Conservation Area is a limestone plain.
The 3 km hiking trail encircles the creek on the property, extending south to Black Road, returning to the dam at the parking lot. The dam provides a reservoir for the local fire department.

Find it: This Conservation Area is located on County Road 14 at Demorestville. It can be reached via Highway 62 from Belleville, or County Roads 15 and 5 from Picton.
