Victoria Harbour is a town in the amalgamated community of Tay Township.

Tay Township – located in the Heart of Georgian Bay – is a strong, cohesive rural community with a permanent population of 10,033. Tay celebrates and promotes its unique history, natural heritage and recreational amenities – including the Tay Shore Trail – as the cornerstone to its quality of life. Tay’s unique villages and towns support a host of events, services and businesses that contribute to a growing local economy and create a unique destination experience for residents and visitors to the community.

The Tay Shore Trail boasts over 18 kilometers of paved trail that meanders along the pristine shores of Georgian Bay showcasing glorious vistas of the Bay, the Wye, Hogg, and Sturgeon Rivers. The trail is fully accessible and is ideal for rollerblading, biking, walking, running, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Interpretive plaques along the trail display the local wildlife, terrain and Tay’s rich history. Known as the Cadillac of trails, the Tay Shore Trail is a must.
