Lakefield is a community in the Township of Selwyn.
The Township of Selwyn, situated north of the city of Peterborough, is bordered almost entirely by lakes. This largely rural township includes the urban communities of Lakefield and Bridgenorth, and the quaint historic hamlets of Ennismore, Young’s Point and Buckhorn. It is a diversified and active community known for its exceptional quality of life and for its location in the beautiful setting of the Kawarthas. You will find that it is a wonderful place to live, raise a family, work and visit.
